Picture of the Gutenberg Bible on display at the Huntington Gardens superimposed on a picture of the sunset...

The Gutenberg Bible was the first major book in the world printed on a printing press during the 1450s by Johannes Gutenberg in Germany. Today there are 42 surviving
copies of which only 21 are complete. The complete copy in this picture is currently on display at the Huntington Gardens in San Marino, California. It is a profound
contrast to see a book from the dawn of printing next to a modern internet phone that can take a picture and instantly publish it around the globe!
